Regional law firm Napthens has been shortlisted for an award in one of the most prestigious events in the corporate finance calendar.

Regional law firm Napthens has been shortlisted for an award in one of the most prestigious events in the corporate finance calendar.

The firm is a finalist in the Mid-size Law Firm of the Year category at this year’s North West Insider Dealmakers Awards.

The category, part of one of the biggest events of its kind in the region, recognises mid-sized firms which have impressed over the last 12 months with their growth, mergers and acquisitions and activity.

Napthens was also an adviser in a shortlisted Deal of the Year (sub £10m) for the investment by BGF into Joloda International Group.

Keith Melling, partner and head of Corporate at Napthens, said: “Last year we were Highly Commended for Law Firm of the Year in these awards.

“Year-on-year Napthens continues to impress and grow. This nomination demonstrates how the firm is highly regarded across the region and that our top-quality lawyers are amongst the best in the business.”

The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on October 24 at Manchester Central.

The awards, hosted by Insider Media, traditionally celebrate the most successful firms in the corporate and legal sector and typically attract up to 1,000 people each year.
