Leading regional property company, Bruntwood has appointed WPP powerhouse agency MediaCom North to drive through the next phase of its customer-centric business strategy and to bolster its digital capabilities.

Code Computerlove and Mediacom, part of WPP’s Mediacom North group, collectively won a three-way pitch to partner with the £116m turnover business for its forthcoming digital transformation programme.

The group will work with Bruntwood’s internal marketing and software development team to create a new digital platform aligned with ongoing audience insight and data driven decision-making. It will look to develop new online services and flexible solutions that will cater for the evolving business. Mediacom has been tasked with developing and implementing a new digital media strategy to attract new customers as well as help to drive efficiencies across the business.

Founded in 1976, Bruntwood is synonymous with the supply and management of high quality workspace environments that help cities thrive, owning and managing more than 100 buildings across Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.

To support Bruntwood’s continued growth and evolution, it will now focus on transforming its digital capabilities, taking a digital-first approach and implementing a data driven strategy.

Spokesperson for Bruntwood Sam Wilson, Solutions Director, said:

“2018 marked a year of significant growth for the organisation, centring around our purpose: creating thriving cities.

“With lots of offline change now embedded within our culture – including new agile working practices and a new state of the art head quarters – turning our focus to digital is the natural next phase in our customer-centric growth plan.

“We will also use technology to further our ability to create deep connections with the cities in which we operate and drive engagement with the communities we’re building. Our new platform will offer a flexible solution to enable us to be as agile digitally as we are as a business.”

Sam added: “Not only did Code and Mediacom provide a fantastic response to our brief, they are a significant employer in the North West as MediaCom North, so working with them is very much in line with our company purpose of supporting the cities in which we operate. They demonstrated our shared passion to ensure every decision we make will improve efficiencies and the overall Bruntwood customer experience. Our aim is to ensure every investment and decision we make benefits our customers, our communities and our colleagues; because when our cities thrive, so do we.”

Paul Cooper, COO Mediacom North, said: “This win is a good example of how our businesses can offer clients a full end to end digital transformation service, with the combined skillsets of MediaCom and Code. Our integrated approach and alignment of all areas of the customer journey means we can work collaboratively with clients towards shared goals in a highly efficient and effective way.”
