Three team members are the latest in a long line of legal talent to progress through the prestigious The Wilkes Partnership trainee scheme to become assistant solicitors at the firm.

Rupinder Sahota joins the Property Litigation Team, Owen Shave will start in the Corporate Team and Tim Burrows takes up a position in the Private Client Department in Birmingham and Solihull.

Alongside its newly qualified solicitors, Ayesha Sirpal, Jack Milnthorpe, Joel Blake and Sophie Raybould have joined The Wilkes Partnership as first year trainees.

Kate Hackett, Partner and Training Principal at Wilkes said: “2019 has been another strong year for Wilkes and we are delighted to be able to offer Tim, Owen and Rupinder positions within the firm. We feel that we offer our trainees great hands-on experience which allows them to hit the ground running with their legal careers.”

In recent years the firm has seen a range of success through its trainee scheme including the recently announced chair of the Birmingham Trainee Solicitor Society Matt Hartas, a first year trainee at The Wilkes Partnership.

This latest line of talent adds to the overall growth at the firm. At the start of the year The Wilkes Partnership merged with Birmingham law firm Coley & Tilley, boosting the firm’s size to 185 legal experts with a turnover of more than £12 million a year.
