Born in Liverpool to a French mother and Somali father, sales expert Alistaire Jama rose through the ranks at Thomson Yellow Pages before gaining his MBA at BT. He later became sales director for 118118 media, then commercial director for the Guardian Media Group focusing on the Manchester Evening News. He founded Kennedy Ross Consulting Limited in 2010. He lives in Preston, UK, with his wife Natalie, and has two children and two grandchildren.
