To celebrate Hospice Care Week, Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice has created a video to highlight the importance of hospice care.
What is Hospice Care Week
Hospice Care Week is a national awareness campaign which aims to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK. This year, the theme is ‘This Is What It Takes’ which celebrates the hard work and amazing support of our fundraisers, volunteers and staff.
Birmingham St Mary’s video
As part of the awareness week, they’ve created a video to highlight ‘what it takes’ to provide our care, as well as ‘what it gives’ to the people who are supported by the Hospice. The video features nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, cooks, housekeepers, volunteers and more, as well as patients and family members whose loved one has been cared for by the Hospice.
