As the deadline for entries to the Red Rose Awards draws ever closer, the preparations for the Lancashire business community’s most anticipated event are well underway.
Companies who wish to nominate themselves or their peers for any of the Red Rose Awards categories have until midnight on Friday December 13 to submit their entry forms – just over two weeks away.
This will be followed by an initial shortlisting process. The finalists, announced on January 27, will then present to judges on February 5 or 6. The process will culminate in Lancashire’s best loved awards ceremony, where the winners will be revealed on stage, on March 20 at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
Meanwhile, with less than four months to go before the grand celebration, the event’s organisers, Lancashire Business View, and their team of hand-picked, locally-sourced suppliers and army of sponsors have begun preparations.
The latest date in the diary was an exclusive event in which the organisations backing the Red Rose Awards met at Stanley House Hotel & Spa to hear updates on the progress of the awards so far, before making brief pitches to the room and then enjoying face-to-face networking.
New sponsors include Nybble IT sponsor of the new category Retail Business Award, Baldwins sponsors of the Medium Business Award and Motionlab sponsors of the Online Sales Awards.
The Red Rose Awards sponsors are 3ManFactory, Albert Harrison & Co, Baldwins, Barclays, Bigtank, BizSpace, Blackpool & The Fylde College, Boost Business Lancashire | Rosebud, Cash for Kids, Community Foundation for Lancashire, Eventus Recruitment Group, Forbes Solicitors, Fun at Work, Harrison Drury Solicitors, James’ Places, Leonard Dews, Marketing Lancashire, Mattioli Woods, Motionlab, Napthens Solicitors, Nybble IT, Pendle Engineering, Peter Scott Printers, Pink Link, Porsche Centre Bolton, RSM, Ribby Hall Village, Rowan, Seriun, Stanley House Hotel & Spa, Sundown Solutions, The Growth Company, The Rovers Events, University of Central Lancashire, VEKA UK and WEC Group
Richard Slater, founder of the Red Rose Awards, said: “Proof that the awards are held in the highest esteem in Lancashire can be found in the calibre of sponsors that they attract. The networking event had the biggest names from every industry in attendance, and it was our pleasure to be able to bring them all together to network and make new, local contacts.”
