Network’s Christmas cracker for Rosemere

Guests attending The Business Network’s Christmas meeting pulled a Christmas cracker for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Guests attending The Business Network’s Christmas meeting pulled a Christmas cracker for Rosemere Cancer Foundation and two other local charities by participating in a festive draw and auction that raised £1,836

The money is being shared equally by the trio with the other charities to benefit being Derian House Children’s Hospice and Preston’s The Space Centre.

Karen Tems, of The Business Network, said: “We had 125 guests attend the meeting. I would like to say a big thank you to all of them for their generosity.”

Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre, the region’s specialist cancer treatment centre at the Royal Preston Hospital, and at another eight local hospital cancer units across the two counties.

The charity funds cutting edge equipment, research, training and other cancer services that are beyond limited NHS resources. For further information on its work, including how to make a donation, visit www.rosemere.org.uk
