Leading for success in stressful times: Personal leadership through MBTI – 16 & 17 June, UCLan
In the current climate most of us are now working remotely and this unexpected change brings with it stress and uncertainty.
Do you want to enhance your capability to lead successfully through these difficult times? Do you want to increase awareness of your impact on others?
Self-awareness is a fundamental element to good leadership. This course provides an opportunity to improve your career potential through an understanding of your personality type, based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a psychometric instrument widely used in organisations globally to improve leadership performance. Understanding your type may help you manage the current situation a little better, personally and professionally. Our MBTI profile reveals how we see and interact with the world, giving insight into our motivation and the motivation of others. This provides a strong foundation for personal growth and development, underpinning enhanced personal effectiveness. The MBTI framework raises awareness of peoples differing behaviour in a number of common workplace challenges such as conflict; resilience; teamwork; communication; decision making; influencing; emotional intelligence; career development; managing others; change and leadership.
Outcomes for participants:
- increasing your own self-awareness
- gain an understanding of the impact your leadership style may have on others with different preferred ways of working
- appreciate how different personality preferences cope with stress and uncertainty
How the Programme will be delivered:
Once you have registered onto the programme we will send you a link to complete the MBTI Questionnaire, and advise of the next steps, one of which will be a 1:1 consultation with a qualified MBTI Practitioner.
