The iconic site, immortalised by The Beatles and John Lennon, Strawberry Field now serves as a unique addition to Beatles tourism, with responsible tourism at its heart.
Strawberry Field are offering complimentary visits to into their visitor experience (normally £12.95pp ) until Sunday 2nd August. All visits must be pre-booked using the website. From Tuesday 4th August they will be offering a reduced entrance fee at £7.00pp this will run until September.
Through the exhibition, learn about the history of the site; including stories from the former children’s home and about how John came to write the famous song. The café is a place to socialise and enjoy delicious dishes and the shop stocks a wide range of authentic merchandise. The gardens, where a young John Lennon played as a child, offer a calm space for reflection.
All sales through the exhibition, café and shop fund a Steps to Work programme, aimed at young adults aged 18-25 with learning difficulties or other barriers to employment.
