Birmingham-based business change consultancy, Entec Si, has kept up its commitment to people development over the pandemic, with 21 employees from across the organisation gaining professional qualifications or completing training courses.
Despite the need to overcome challenges related to the coronavirus pandemic, Entec Si has made a significant investment in upskilling employees in recent months. Six members of the team have been sponsored to undertake professional qualifications, supporting their progress through the organisation.
Charlotte Stanyer, Eilis Garton-Marrows, Anita Devi, Megan Evans and Zoe Eccleston have sharpened their project management skills by gaining PRINCE2 or Agile qualifications, while Tamara Pleasant has achieved an Agile BA Foundation and Practitioner qualification in Business Analysis. Charlotte has also been awarded a BSc Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis.
During COVID-19, members of the ‘Entec Si family’ have also had the opportunity to focus on their personal and professional growth by getting involved with the business’ innovative approach to employee training. 14 employees have taken part in the Leading by Nature programme, led by Jude Jennison, which aims to improve communication and leadership skills through interaction with horses. 12 members of the team also undertook personal development training sessions with Alison Delaney at Little Bird, which focus on realising employees’ leadership potential by building confidence and allowing people to work through personal challenges.
Inspired by the impact of the pandemic, Entec Si has also recently launched an internal wellbeing initiative, dedicated to promoting ‘mental wealth’ and wellbeing at all levels of the organisation.
