The magazine, which publishes news, advice and opinion for and about businesses across the red rose county, was launched in 2005 and has now published its 100th edition.
The September/October edition contains a retrospective of some of the most important news stories covered by the team over the years, from major mergers and acquisitions to ambitious county-wide projects.
It also features the Hot 100, Lancashire Business View’s popular annual feature which profiles the 100 most successful SMEs of the last year – including this year’s new first-placed company.
Elsewhere in the magazine, the team looks in-depth at the agriculture and food sector, as well as reviewing the successes of coastal Lancashire and outlining the opportunities which lie ahead. There’s a report on international trade, the return of Lancashire venues post-pandemic, and the Sub36 feature highlights the achievements of younger members of the Lancashire business community.
There are also detailed guides to promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace, advice on selling a business, and other key topics.
Richard Slater, founder and publisher of Lancashire Business View, says: “I am immensely proud of the team to have reached 100 editions of the magazine. Our look back over the years shows just how far we – and the county – have progressed.
“There have been many challenges faced – including two monumental setbacks to the global economy – but also many, many successes and victories, including a long line-up of organisations and entrepreneurs which have achieved great, game-changing things, and of course our own achievements too, such as winning national awards for the quality of our work and events.”
