Project Four are taking a leading role in promoting and encouraging engagement with the Construction Leadership Councils October Campaign ‘Stop. Make A Change’. Project Four are supporting the UK-wide health, safety and wellbeing stand down Stop. Make a Change 2021 which also coincides with World Mental Health Day + the European Week for Safety + Health. The campaign which Project Four is supporting is aimed at individual construction workers with the aim of re-engaging with their own health, safety + wellbeing. The campaign promotes construction workers to ‘down tools’ to spend time focusing on key topics that will impact individuals when at work. The topics will include:
- Respiratory health
- People plant interface
- Mental health + workplace stress
Project Four work at all stages of construction – starting usually with clients (developers, local authorities across multiple sectors), architects + other designers and on site with contractors – so are looking to roll out the campaign across the various construction stages. Project Four will specifically be providing briefings to clients via Teams and while out on site, distributing resources and promoting the campaign during design team meetings + through our social media platforms.
The European Week for Safety & Health runs from 18-22 October – so we thought we would capitalise on the fact that there will be an increased focus on Health, Safety & Wellbeing during this period.
