About Paula Davies
Once you’ve met Paula Davies, you won’t forget her!
Her career in media, sales and promotions has seen her managing £1m+ operations, mixing with politicians and celebrities and signing large corporate deals. But the married mum is just as happy rolling up her sleeves and getting stuck into projects that help the local community.
She rose through the ranks of PR and promotions at one of the UK’s biggest tourist attractions, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and more recently played a major role in corporate sales at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, which boasts a new £28m conference centre.
However, Paula is best known in Lancashire as the former station director at Radio Wave on the Fylde Coast – a radio station that always punched above its weight in income generation. Her vision was that Wave should always support the local community and Paula worked tirelessly arranging events such as the Local Heroes Awards and the annual on-air charity auction which raised money for the Blue Skies appeal at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
She’s a big believer in businesses working together to support each other and played a key role in networking events in her hometown of Fleetwood.
Paula’s always got a listening ear if you have a problem in business and probably a few suggestions on how to resolve the issue.
