Downtown in Business will host the twentieth ‘Livercool’ business Awards on the evening of Thursday 24th November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event celebrates individuals from the city’s business community who have made a significant contribution to enterprise and economic growth in the city region.
Eighteen years ago, Downtown in Business hosted its very first event. The ‘Livercool’ awards at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the city’s famous waterfront.
Downtown in Business has been nominated for Best COVID-Safe Non Music Event at the Event Production show for Livercool 2020. The Event Production Show will be taking place on 26th May and other nominees include The Luna Cinema, #WeMakeEvents campaign, Bongo’s Bingo and Sacha Lord. Past winners for the awards also include Culture Liverpool for Liverpool’s Dream, Isle of Wight Festival, Event Genius and Ticket Arena.
250 business leaders joined Downtown in Business for their annual ‘Livercool’ event at the city’s convention centre for what is thought to be the first major business networking event to be hosted in the UK since lockdowns began back in March.
Due to the current Lockdown situation, the 2020 ‘Livercool’ Awards has been forced to change the date and venue of the event. The celebration of the city’s entrepreneurs and business leaders will now take place on the afternoon of Thursday 10th December at ACC Liverpool.
Downtown in Business will be merging its two premier award evenings into one event this year. his year, the combined COLBA/Livercool awards will be hosted at the Hilton Hotel later this year.
