Hope Street Hotel

Returning with our 'Venue of the Month' series, we have the beautiful Hope Street Hotel as our featured venue this month!

Hope Street Hotel, established in 2004, was the first independent, privately owned boutique hotel in Liverpool City Centre.

Nestled in the heart of Hope Street, the epicentre of the fashionable and cultural Georgian Quarter, Hope Street Hotel has established a reputation of excellence since they opened 20 years ago and remains very much a ‘hotel of choice’ within this competitive market. With their ‘city chic’ look and original features of pink Cheshire brick, the Hotel combines the buildings historic original features and a contemporary guest experience. Hope Street Hotel blends alongside Liverpool’s artistic Georgian neighbourhood and the two magnificent cathedrals either end.

This year, Hope Street Hotel will be celebrating 20 years, and will have a series of special promotions which will run throughout the year.

With multiple expansions and fantastic innovation, the hotel now consists of 149 bedrooms, two restaurants, nine event spaces, a private 39 seat-theatre and a multi-award winning spa.

The Spa:

Hope Street Hotel Spa has been voted the UK’s Best City Spa 2023!

From the opening in 2021, all guests have experienced luxury when entering the Hope Street Hotel spa. It includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor courtyard vitality pool, Himalayan salt sauna, herbal sauna, aroma steam room, tepidarium and relaxation areas. Hotel guests can also access the spa at a discounted rate!

Private Theatre:

Their private 39-seating cinema can be booked through the hotel. Whether used for meetings, training or even as a guest of the hotel, the cinema can be used in conjunction with its bar (The Cine-bar) and the meeting room next door (First Room) to create a relaxing, private space for all.

Rooms:

The hotel consists of seven individually designed room types. The upper floor rooms come with exposed brick, while suites have sloping ceilings and skylights. The larger suites have freestanding tubs on the mezzanine level and have the best views of Liverpool and beyond!

Each room has it’s own elegance and beauty, creating a lovely atmosphere and stay for all guests!

The hotel also has a range of meeting and event spaces, that are flexible and tailored for all: Meetings & Event Spaces

Restaurant:

The hotel consists of two restaurants, each providing their own theme and menu, but still holding the level of prestige throughout the hotel.

The London Carriage Works serves modern British dishes, complimented by the use of local, fresh and seasonal produce. Since their opening in 2003, the restaurant has been established as one of Liverpool’s Leading Restaurants and boasts an elegant and friendly atmosphere for all visitors. For all the wine lovers, the restaurant also hold an AA Notable Wine Award due to their extensive wine list!

From Monday – Saturday, from 5pm; The London Carriage Works bar is a convivial space to relax and catch-up. Serving a full range of dishes, including plates to share!

1931 is the hotels’ second restaurant. Serving, pizza, pasta, salads and sharing boards, guests get to enjoy the open kitchen and watch their orders being prepared by the amazing team behind the scenes! The restaurant takes inspiration from the trade routes that came through Liverpool in 1931, alongside some of the chefs favourite travel destinations and freshly sourced, local ingredients, which helps create a delicious, international menu for all!
