The published and documentary records show, that from the architectural character of Stanley House, it was originally built in the first half of the 17th Century, and was the original manor house of Mellor. After 100’s of years of regeneration and development, the hotel opened for business in September 2004, and has since become one of Lancashire’s finest hotels, winning multiple awards over the many years.

 

Their luxury accommodation is split over two spectacular buildings, The Manor House and Woodland Rooms.

The Manor House is a Grade II listed house, consisting of 12 individually designed bedrooms, all with stunning views of the Ribble Vally countryside. Originally, the manor house of Mellor, the building was restored in … bringing it to it’s former glory, where the hotel began to open. With a serene private reception area, featuring a magnificent fireplaces and wood burning stove, the hotel greets guests with a cosy environment, to kick your stay off in comfort.

These 12 rooms won an ‘Enjoy England for Excellence Award’ in 2004!

Since then, 18 newly constructed rooms were added in 2012. These contemporary ‘Woodland Rooms’ bring a modern touch to this boutique hotel, boasting a range of impressive technology, four-piece bathrooms and also dedicated disabled access.

Stanley House also offers an award winning spa and relaxation retreat for all guests!

The Spa at Stanley House reflects the elegance of natural rural beauty, with peaceful views over the Ribble Valley hills and surrounding countryside. Guests can discover a space to relax with friends or unwind in private, to gain a fresher perspective on their delightful, uplifting escape.

They have six individual couple’s spaces for providing treatments, a collection of thermal cabins and a deeply soothing hydrotherapy message pool. The thermal bathing suite is taken as a journey to help promote relaxation, improve breathing and cleanse the body.

They still hold the Good Spa Guide ‘Best Boutique Spa’ 2023 award and are rated as a 5-bubble spa!

Whatever your event, Stanley House offers a choice of six purpose-build business meeting rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, wifi and the added benefit to full natural daylight and magnificent countryside views!

GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC MANUFACTURER LECO MOVES ITS UK HQ TO BRUNTWOOD SCITECH’S ALDERLEY PARK IN SIGNIFICANT BOOST TO NORTH WEST INNOVATION ECONOMY

Bruntwood SciTech has announced a new letting at Alderley Park to global scientific manufacturer Leco, at its science and technology campus, Alderley Park.
