Gaucho Newcastle

For our last month of 2024, we have Gaucho Newcastle as our Venue of the Month in December.

Gaucho opened its first Argentinian restaurant in London in 1994, taking inspiration from Argentina with a vision of bringing the world’s best steak to the UK.

Their food has a contemporary global influence, based strongly around modern Argentina. Notably the best cuts of steak in the world, their beef comes from Argentinian, premium Black-Angus cattle bred at hand-selected farms. With their high-quality meat being sourced from the best suppliers, and their expert chefs preparing your meal to perfection.

Join Gaucho at the best steak restaurant in Newcastle, offering a taste of Argentinian cuisine, alongside premium cocktails, in a spectacular setting.

The engine room behind Britain’s Industrial Revolution, Newcastle is the birthplace of the Golden Age of coal, iron and steam. Home to the locomotive, ship building, electric lighting, turbine power and once the largest glass-producing centre in the world, Newcastle laid the foundation for the UK’s prosperity, forging intercontinental relationships and helping to affirm global strength.

Gaucho is now the custodian of a painstakingly restored Grade II-listed building on Pilgrim Street, blending a sophisticated elegance with industrial elements, reflecting the city’s legacy for impeccable craftsmanship. With a sweeping centrepiece bar that’s perfect for early evening drinks and a wide-plan restaurant with an open kitchen, it will become the restaurant to see and be seen in this great city.

Gaucho Newcastle has private dining spaces for special events and celebrations and a stylish cocktail bar for pre and post theatre drinks. We are also one of Newcastle’s dog friendly restaurants.
