In this weeks 'Who Are Yer?' we hear from Manchester based, sustainability company, Zellar

Company name

What does your business do?

Zellar gives businesses everything they need to become sustainable. Our first-of-its-kind platform allows you to track and manage your journey in one place, and share your progress with your customers every step of the way.

How does it work?

Zellar analyses your business to show how sustainably you’re operating and provide you with a tailored plan for reducing and offsetting your emissions. It connects you to the products and services you need all within the platform, so you can take action straight away.

What are the benefits of becoming a sustainable business?

Apart from the obvious positive impact on the environment, becoming sustainable can improve your brand image, attract new customers and investors, aid talent recruitment and reduce operational costs.

What is your mission?

We want to leave the planet in a better state than we found it. We hope that by making sustainability simple, we can help businesses take immediate action and therefore drive real change.

Why Downtown in Business?

As Manchester is committed to becoming a zero carbon city by 2038, it only felt right we launch Zellar in Manchester and work with businesses to help you get there even faster.

We’ve partnered with Downtown in Business as they recognise the importance of sustainability and were keen to support our Manchester launch campaign and lead the way in the city.

We also hope that the Downtown in Business community share this ambition and will want to play their part in making Manchester the UK’s first sustainable city. You can find out more at zellar.com/manchester.
