Over 300 leading business personalities from across Liverpool and Cheshire celebrated the achievements of some of the regions leading female entrepreneurs at the Women in Business Awards 2024, hosted by Downtown in Business.
The eleventh iteration of the Women in Business Awards, sponsored by Sefton Hospitality, rewarded several of the region’s leading female business leaders. This year the competition was fiercer than ever as the voting was expanded to include Cheshire and North Wales alongside the fantastic talent from the Liverpool City Region.
The awards, which this year were hosted by Northwest television icon, Lucy Meacock, celebrates the finest female-led businesses, the established and up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and the women who make the most valuable contribution to the growth of the local economy.
Winners for the Women in Business Awards 2024 included; Laura Pye from National Museums Liverpool, who took home the Liverpool BID Company Award, Joanne Henney from Nugent, who won the Chief Executive’s Awards 2024 and Louise Stewart from Chester Race Company who received the Woman of the Year Award 2024.
This years event was hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool City Centre on International Women’s Day Friday 8th March 2024.
We are delighted that we raised £3,900 on the day for our charity, Liverpool University Hospitals Charity, a big thank you to everyone who donated on the day.
