Esther McVey and Philip Davies are set to speak at an exclusive DIB event in Chester on Thursday 22nd September.
Esther, who was the keynote speaker at Downtown’s very first awards event back in 2003, is the MP for Tatton. She has served in the cabinets of David Cameron, Theresa May, and Boris Johnson, and is one of the leading members of the influential ‘Blue Collar Conservatives’ group. Prior to her political career, Esther was a successful entrepreneur, and a TV presenter.
Philip has been the MP for Shipley in West Yorkshire since 2005. He is a well known ‘rebel’, having voted against the Tory whip more than any other Conservative MP. Before being elected to parliament, he worked as a senior marketing manager at retail giant Asda.
