Education minister meets DIB members

DIB recently hosted an exclusive roundtable event with Education Minister, Gillian Keegan MP.

The Secretary of State for Education, Gillian Keegan MP, met with business leaders and academics from across the Northwest at an exclusive Roundtable event hosted by Downtown in Business yesterday (8th June).

The Minister, following her visit to the outstanding City of Liverpool College, discussed a range of issues, including apprenticeships, T-Levels, and University fees.

Leading electrical retailer AO chooses Bruntwood SciTech’s innovation hub 111 Piccadilly for city centre creative hub

Bruntwood SciTech is announcing that the UK’s leading electrical retailer, AO, has chosen 111 Piccadilly for its new Manchester city centre creative hub.

The firm will take the entire 15th floor, providing a fully fitted and furnished workspace for its creative department, comprising animators, production staff and graphic designers. By relocating to 111 Piccadilly, AO will gain direct collaboration and networking opportunities with other like-minded tech businesses already based at the building, including the likes of national EV charging network Be.EV and payment solutions software provider, Total Processing.
