Business of Sports Conference… 4 weeks to go

The inaugural Business of Sport Conference will take place on Thursday 7th September 2023.

There is just under four weeks to go until the DIB Business of Sport Conference! The first of its kind from Downtown in Business, the Business of Sport Conference will take place at the iconic Lancashire Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.

The unmissable event will feature presentations and discussions from leading sports personalities, officials and industry experts who will focus on key issues such as the economic impact of sport on cities, the legacy of major sporting events, regeneration benefits of new stadia, the future of football, and much more.

The impressive line up of speakers includes ex-footballer turned pundit and entrepreneur, Gary Neville, CEO of Women in Football, Yvonne Harrison, British Olympian, Montell Douglas, leading executive sports education co-founders, Andy McIntyre and Tony Faulkner, Sheffield Business School’s Professor Rob Wilson, Managing Director of Northern Vision, Anders Borg, football lawyer and COO of Omni-Sports, Kelly Skeggs, Sports Rights and Negotiation Coach and Consultant, David Murray, Director at Laing O’Rourke, Tom Higgins, Architect Director at BDP, Andy Capewell, and more. The event will also feature an special ‘Be the Standard’ session with Sedulo boss, Paul Cheetham-Karcz, and Rugby League legend, Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
