Downtown in Business were delighted to welcome HM3 Legal to our Employment Law event on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at the Bruntwood SciTech Circle Square office.
The session offered a fascinating look at how generative AI is beginning to shape the modern workplace, particularly within HR and employee relations. A live demonstration showed just how quickly a detailed, grievance-style letter can be created from a simple AI prompt, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges this technology presents.
This naturally led into a discussion around the increasing importance of lawyer-led guidance, as AI tools become more accessible to employees and the complexity of workplace issues continues to grow. We also explored the latest developments surrounding the Employment Rights Bill, including what the evolving qualifying period for unfair dismissal could mean for employers in practice.
It was an insightful and engaging session with plenty of practical takeaways for organisations planning ahead.
