Star Wars fans can experience a unique full screening of the film at the Birmingham Arena, with Oscar-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live by the Novello Orchestra and conducted by David Mahoney. Almost 40 years after its original release, follow your favourite characters in their fight against the Empire, from the battle on Hoth and their betrayal in Cloud City to Luke Skywalker’s Jedi training and iconic fight sequence with Darth Vader in what is often hailed as the greatest film of the series.
For Star Wars enthusiasts of all ages, this is a must!
Planning Your Trip
The performance begins at 7.30pm and the total running time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval. The Empire Strikes Back has been classified as ‘U’ for Universal by the British Board of Film Classification and is suitable for children, but all guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and guests of all ages require a ticket.
Be aware that the film will include flashing images.
