The team at Deva Fest, one of the region’s best-loved festivals, are making final preparations for their 2023 return! Taking place from the 11th – 13th August, the family friendly festival is gearing up to welcome 1000’s of guests to their new Cheshire home, Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, for a jam-packed 3 days of live music, laughs, local traders and free activities.
The festival is also thrilled to announce its partnership with Merseyrail, making it even more accessible to guests from across the North West. All festival goers travelling via a Merseyrail service to Chester can use the festival shuttle buses from Chester Railway Station, free of charge, on presentation of both a valid train and festival entry ticket. On the partnership, Founder Phil Marston said “Deva Fest 2023 is bigger and better than previous years, with more included in ticket prices without compromising on what makes Deva Fest special. We always have and always will create our festival with our attendees in mind.”
The expertly chosen musical line-up is guaranteed to have something for everyone with 5 stages featuring internationally acclaimed headliners and emerging talents across multiple genres. Friday’s opening night will see a UK exclusive performance from 90’s legends Morcheeba followed by Symphonic Ibiza finishing the evening with their iconic live orchestral and DJ mash-up. Saturday will see internationally renowned acts including Will Young, Fleur East and Five take to the stage to perform their biggest pop hits, whilst British rock band Feeder close the festival on Sunday.
The Deva Laughs tent will also host some of the UK’s funniest faces, like Liverpool native Paul Smith, ITV’s Matt Richardson and Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse, who’ll be taking to the stage across the weekend with their comedy sets.
A festival created with all ages in mind, little ones will be treated to a host of activities in Kids Kingdom including circus workshops and live dinosaur shows, whilst guests young and old can enjoy the return of the popular free fairground, complete with classic rides like dodgems and waltzers.
Deva Fest is also committed to providing the best of what the region has to offer when it comes to food and drink, boasting more than 15 carefully chosen, independent vendors delivering a diverse offering. Spearheading the 2023 offering is award-winning Chester restaurant, Artezzan, returning to the festival
for the second year with their authentic stone baked pizzas and Greek Souvlaki, whilst a full-service bar will be fronted by the expert team behind Chester institutions Liquor & Co and Craft & Company. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food.
Tickets for Deva Fest can be purchased now and start from just £19.50 for a day ticket, with free entry for under 5’s. There are also multiple camping options for guests wishing to stay the weekend. All ticket information can be found here.
