Downtown in Business hosted a special Leaders lunch at Gaucho in Manchester earlier this week, where DIB boss Frank McKenna was in conversation with one of the city’s leading Tech and entrepreneurs Lou Cordwell.
Lou, who established Magnetic North as one of the country’s leading tech agencies before exiting the business earlier this year, has been a driving force in Manchester’s progress in the crucial economic growth area of technology and innovation.
Now advising the leadership at Manchester University on its future innovation strategy, she offered business leaders from across the North West a fascinating insight into her own career, and the story of Manchester’s transformation into a tech and innovation hub.
