As Everton FC prepares to move into its new home at Bramley Moore Dock, the city of Liverpool can look ahead and plan for what other developments and opportunities the stadium may be able to act as a catalyst for.
One of those ideas in to develop a new town covering north Liverpool and Sefton and this exclusive DIB event will focus on plans to redevelop one of Britain’s most deprived areas and build more than 10,000 new homes in the area. A submission for New Town status has been lodged with the Department of Housing, Communities, and Local Government.
This Leaders Lunch will take place on Tuesday 3rd June, 12pm-2pm, at the HQ of Everton Football Club in the Liver Buildings.
The leader of Liverpool City Council, Cllr Liam Robinson, the corporate director of city development at Liverpool City Council Nuala Gallagher, and the assistant director for economic growth and housing for Sefton Council, Stuart Barnes, will present the proposals and discuss the wider investment opportunities in and around the Bramley Moore Dock development.
