On Friday 21st of March, Downtown will be joined by James Frith, Sacha Lord and Victoria Braddock for our Leaders Lunch series in Manchester.

Join Downtown in Business, for our ‘Leaders Lunch’ series in Manchester, where we will be joined by James Frith, the Labour MP for Bury North, Sacha Lord, the Night Time Economy Adviser for Greater Manchester and Victoria Braddock, Managing Director of Marketing Manchester.

Frith was elected as Member of Parliament for Bury North in 2017. Before his election to Parliament, Frith was the CEO and Founder of All Together, a social enterprise providing careers education and guidance services to young people to help them get into work.

As part of The Growth Company, Victoria will lead Marketing Manchester as the Destination Management Organisation for Greater Manchester, which includes the brands Visit Manchester, Manchester Convention Bureau and Sports Bidding Unit, and the Manchester Invest Partnership; focused on raising the profile of the city-region nationally and internationally as a place to visit, meet, study, and invest. During her time at Marketing Manchester, Victoria has supported the growth of the city-region and its position as the UK’s global gateway to the North; navigated the difficulties of the pandemic; and has developed major campaigns and initiatives to take Greater Manchester to the world.

Sacha Lord is Night Time Economy Adviser for Greater Manchester, Chair of the Night Time Industries Association and Chair of Wythenshawe F.C. He also co-founded The Warehouse Project and Parklife – the UK’s largest metropolitan festival. In his role as Greater Manchester’s first-ever Night Time Economy Adviser, Sacha works with Mayor Andy Burnham and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, consulting on all issues relating to the Night Time Economy and providing a voice for workers, operators and the industry at large.
