In Conversation with Trevor Steven…

DIB in association with the City of Liverpool College and Everton FC will be hosting this exclusive event with Trevor Steven.

One of the most successful footballers of his generation, through the Eighties and Nineties Trevor was a professional footballer, and played for Burnley, Everton, Glasgow Rangers, and Marseille. He also represented England, winning 36 full caps, and competing in the 1986 and 1990 World Cup Finals.

In his club career he won two English League Championships, an FA Cup and a European Cup Winners Cup; seven Scottish Premier League titles, and three Scottish League Cups; and a French Ligue 1 championship.

He is now a Mental Health ambassador for Causeway Technologies and is heading a campaign supporting people in the construction sector who suffer from mental health challenges. Suicide rates withing the sector are among the highest of any industry. Among one of the initiatives Causeway Technologies are delivering is a mental health hub at Goodison Park, in partnership with Everton in the Community.

In conversation with DIB chief executive Frank McKenna, Trevor will discuss his career journey, and his work as a mental health ambassador.
