Join Downtown In Business and The Liverpool BID Company for an exclusive Conference at The fabulous Hilton Hotel, Liverpool, on Thursday 5th September.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Liverpool BID Company, the People Power Places Conference invites representatives and key players from across multiple organisations and sectors in the Liverpool region to gather to examine and recognise the work that The Liverpool BID Company and Downtown in Business have done over the last 20 years with the aim of learning from the past and looking forward to the future and how we can continue to promote growth and innovation in the current economic climate.

Downtown in Business has partnered with the Liverpool BID Company to host the event which will run from 8am – 3pm and bring together a star-studded and varied line-up of innovators, policy makers, and influencers.

This event will bring together some of the county’s Leading entrepreneurs, academics, thinkers, and politicians to celebrate the impact that The Liverpool Bid Company and Downtown has made to the region over the years discuss and continue to look forward to the future of Liverpool and how we can tackle some of the current key issues and challenges.

The day will be centred around a series of wide ranging discussions and debates, around key issues all involving the people and places that are the heart of the region and the institutions of power that govern them.

Covering areas such as placemaking innovation, learning, and entrepreneurialism, this event brings together a range of different lived experiences and pools insights from the best and brightest.

About the Liverpool Bid Company:

Liverpool BID (a designated zone in which businesses (BID Levy Payers) benefit from a wide range of additional services) Company is a private, not-for-profit limited company, with over 850 Levy Payers in Liverpool across three Business Improvement Districts: Retail & Leisure BID, Culture & Commerce BID and Accommodation BID.

Liverpool BID provides a powerful, independent voice representing the interests of a varied community of organisations, committed to working together to ensure that the area continues to progress whilst providing the best possible trading and working environment for its occupiers.

Most importantly they provide valuable Business Support, working with these BID Levy Payers where they need them most.

This event will also feature a series of talks and panel discussions from many of the leading entrepreneurs and decision-makers in attendance.

Each talk will be an opportunity for experts to take the floor and share their thoughts on the challenges facing business, the economy, and the region at large.
