Silk Rd back open for business!

With restrictions lifting, Silk Rd have spent the last couple of weeks preparing the restaurant to once again welcome in guests from May 17th.

It has been a tough year for everyone but finally we can say – Welcome back to Silk Rd.

Silk Rd, based in the heart of the commercial district has been operating a small terrace since venues were allowed to open outdoors on April 12th but with the great British weather as unpredictable as ever it has been a stop start few weeks for the team.

With restrictions lifting, Silk Rd have spent the last couple of weeks preparing the restaurant to once again welcome in guests from May 17th.

The Beetham Plaza venue, which opened in 2018 has gone from strength to strength over the last few years placing them in the top rated restaurants in Liverpool.

Taking inspiration from the Silk Rd trail, which spans three continents from the Pacific to the Mediterranean, the venue serves up authentic cuisine while its interior comprises beautiful furnishings sourced from the likes of Italy and Turkey to name a few.

Chris Williams, MD of Silk Rd said “Our location in Beetham Plaza has always been the perfect fit for the Silk Rd concept; a hidden gem within the city reminiscent of Greece or Spain. To once again welcome the business community and see Liverpool City Centre come alive again will be wonderful.”

Javier Mellado, Co-owner said “Being situated nearby popular shopping destinations in Liverpool and in close proximity to the city’s Business District makes us accessible to everyone whether they are looking to join us for a business lunch or a meal with family and friends.”

Silk Rd’s menu combines traditional street food with mezze and tapas and offers a wide range of hand crafted cocktails, wines and beers.

The space offers a 140-seat capacity over 4,000 sq. ft. including a mezzanine level for private dining, an outdoor terrace with views of the city as well as an in-house bar area.
