Urgent & immediate appeal for donations to help those affected by the Turkish earthquake

The Turkish communities in and around Liverpool and Manchester are joining forces and have an aid flight leaving for Turkey this Friday (10th February) and have an urgent need for equipment to help those affected. Drop off point with donations required by 10am Thursday 9th February at Blaze Media.

You will have no doubt heard of the devastating earthquake n Kahramanmaras yesterday morning in Turkey. 

With thousands dead and many, many more injured and left homeless, today is a day of solidarity and an opportunity to come together to help those affected. 

The Turkish communities in and around Liverpool and Manchester are joining forces and have an aid flight leaving for Turkey this Friday (10th February) and have an urgent need for equipment to help those affected. 

One of the Blaze Media team has himself lost family members and so they’re asking for your support in the form of donations of either new or used (but not damaged): 

Blankets, 

Sleeping Bags,

Tents, 

Torches, 

Sanitary Products 

(please, no clothes) 

If you feel you could help then they are acting as a drop off point with donations required by 10am this Thursday (9th February)
