Heavyweight new appointment to strengthen expertise following record client wins at PSE Offline Marketing

Following a year of aggressive growth achieving its strongest financial performance to date PSE Offline Marketing has announced the appointment of Adam Lucas as its new Head of Strategy.

Following a year of aggressive growth achieving its strongest financial performance to date with turnover increasing by 44% and more than 50 new client wins over the past six months alone, PSE Offline Marketing has announced the appointment of Adam Lucas as its new Head of Strategy.

Adam joins the family-run business from a six year spell at Sainsbury’s and Nectar, most recently leading the acquisition and growth marketing team at Sainsbury’s Bank. Within his new role, Adam aims to help the business by strengthening its existing model and leading it into new areas of expansion from its marketing channels and approach to client management and acquisition, to staff retention and keeping ahead of the curve.

The new appointment follows the succession of a raft of client wins and new brand projects across a variety of sectors including The FA, Photobox, CAMRA, Adecco and more.

With offices in Droitwich and Shoreditch, PSE Offline Marketing specialises in channels focused on ‘getting your brand into the home’, working with brands to promote their business and increase enquiries and sales.

Chairman, Phil Newton, said: “It’s a really exciting time for PSE at the moment with both our team and client base expanding. Our plan is to create at least seven more jobs in the next twelve months and will have a team of at least 35 by the end of 2024 hiring in sales, HR, business development, data strategy and design.

“While we’ve seen a massive revolution in digital marketing over the last two decades, in our experience, offline marketing is bucking the trend of other forms of print and is being increasingly used by top brands to boost online sales and traffic and we’re immensely proud to be spearheading such campaigns for our clients.”

Commenting on his new position, Adam said: “From the first meeting I knew we were onto something. I wanted to be able to make an impact across a whole company – not ‘just’ a department or a company within a company and from the get-go I could see this potential at PSE. It’s refreshing to see a business plan with such a focus on sustainable, profitable growth and it was clear as well that if a commercial case could be made for something, the directors would move quickly to implement it – something that’s hugely empowering and motivational for any team.

“For me this move is about building on the great work that’s already been happening and using my experience to help accelerate the business’ growth plans over the next few years while keeping PSE the fantastic place it is to work for and to do business with.”
