His leadership role as Head of the Growth Unit and Major Programme at Lancashire County Council, where he coordinates infrastructure delivery and supported growth schemes, underscores his expertise in driving impactful change.

Drawing on his many experiences, including roles in Leicestershire County Council, Simon will provide unique insights into his current vision for the future of the Lancashire region. Simon’s academic background, including a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a Masters in Public Leadership and Management from the University of Warwick Business School, further enriches his expertise in driving effective change and development strategies in the property sector and in terms of regeneration.
