Downtown in Business is excited to announce that Steve Parry, Managing Director of Ion Developments, will be a keynote speaker at our upcoming Mersey Power Towns event. Trained as a surveyor, Steve began his career heading the office agency department at Sykes Waterhouse. In 1990, he joined prominent Liverpool-based developer Ion, then known as Neptune Developments, where he quickly rose through the ranks. By March 2004, Steve had become Ion’s Managing Director.
Under Steve’s leadership, Ion Developments has been instrumental in shaping some of the most significant projects across the Liverpool City Region. His vision and expertise have been pivotal in delivering transformative developments, including the mixed-use Lime Street project in Liverpool, the expansive 50-acre Earlsfield Park in Knowsley, and the revitalisation efforts at Rhyl Waterfront. These projects reflect Steve’s commitment to creating sustainable, high-quality developments that enhance the communities they serve.
In recognition of his impact on the property industry, Steve Parry was named among the region’s most influential property players at the Place North West ‘Scene Power in Property’ event in 2022. His contributions to the sector have not only elevated Ion Developments but have also set new standards for development and regeneration within the region.
