CITY BOSS OUTLINES AMBITIOUS PLANS FOR LIVERPOOL

The chief executive of Liverpool City Council was the keynote speaker at Downtown in Business’ latest Leaders Lunch in the city, hosted at the outstanding venue that is the Restaurant Bar & Grill.

Andrew Lewis, who has been in post at the Town Hall for 18 months now, was upbeat and confident about the city’s future prospects, whilst acknowledging some challenges remain for a council that was in special measures until the Summer.
Andrew offered his thoughts on the improved relationship between the Combined Authority and the City Council, outlined the potential and opportunity for investment and regeneration across the city, and confirmed the council’s commitment to work in partnership with the private sector.
