Manchester Central, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, is inviting the public inside for an exclusive opportunity to explore the venue and meet the team behind the scenes.
Famous for its stunning vaulted arches and historic station clock, Manchester Central has been a defining feature of the city’s skyline for over 140 years. On Wednesday 23rd July 2025, the venue will open its doors from 9:00am to 5:00pm, welcoming guests to take a closer look at its impressive spaces and vibrant history.
Visitors will have the chance to join official venue tours led by members of the Manchester Central team, offering a unique insight into the inner workings of the venue and what it’s like to be part of the team.
The event also includes the opportunity to experience Junction – Manchester Central’s bar, restaurant, café and social workspace – a new addition that brings even more energy to the venue’s offering.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day, making it easy for visitors to drop in even for a short break – whether to take a quick tour or simply enjoy a brownie and a brew during lunch.
Attendance is free, but space on the guided tours is limited, so visitors are encouraged to sign up in advance to secure their place.
