Liverpool’s leading HR and Health & Safety consultancy, HPC, has strengthened its senior management team, with the appointment of Claire McGuiness to the position of Head of Operations.
In her new role Claire, who has been a senior consultant at the company since 2021, and was named as ‘employee of the year’ at the 2024 Women in Business Awards, has been tasked with maintaining HPC’s outstanding reputation for delivering the very best advice and guidance, and working with her team to navigate companies through the myriad of complex employment law changes, which the government plans to role out in the autumn and beyond.
The move enables Managing Director, Victoria Brown, to focus on driving the continued growth of oneHR Software, an HR and Health & Safety software provider. Claire has stepped into the Head of Operations role, ensuring strong leadership and continuity across the business.
Victoria said:
“Claire has been instrumental in HPC’s growing success over the last 4 years. She has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, and a clear vision of how we can continue to strengthen and improve our operations.”
“We are excited to see how she will continue to drive growth and success in this new role.”
Claire expressed her excitement about her new position as Head of Operations:
“I am delighted to take on this new opportunity and grateful for the trust the company has placed in me. I am well aware of the high standards that HPC have set in the HR arena for over a decade and a half now, and I am committed to not just ensuring that those standards are maintained, but, with our growing team of consultants, improved.”
“In these challenging times for business, it is crucial that companies are given the very best HR advice and support – to help them engage with their staff, strategically adapt to the new business environment we are operating in, and make sure that they are fully up-to-date and ready for the significant employment law changes that are on the way.”
“HPC has long been seen as the premier HR consultancy by many in Liverpool and we intend to secure that position in the coming months and years.”
Ms Brown added:
“This promotion reflects HPC’s commitment to recognising talent and investing in leadership that will shape not only the future of HR and Health & Safety, but HPC as a company.”
