On Tuesday 10th February 2026 Downtown in Business welcomed Liam Robinson, Leader of Liverpool City Council, to a senior Leaders Lunch at Restaurant Bar & Grill, bringing together members of the business community for discussion on leadership, partnership and the city’s future direction. The event was sponsored by Mindflow.
The lunch provided an opportunity for open conversation around Liverpool’s long-term priorities, reputation and ambition, alongside the importance of strong foundations, collaboration and consistent delivery. Discussion also reflected on the wider national political context and the role cities can play in shaping their own futures.
A key moment during the event was Liam Robinson’s commitment to the Mindflow Charter, with Liam Robinson, Frank McKenna and Trevor Steven all signing the charter during the lunch. The signing demonstrated a shared commitment to positive leadership, wellbeing and the creation of healthy workplace cultures across the public and private sectors.
