Valentine is a well-respected member of the region’s business community and was recently revealed as Property Personality of the Year at Business Insider’s West Midlands Property Awards.

The former regional head of developer Bruntwood SciTech has nearly two decades of experience supporting local and regional businesses in the Birmingham metro area.

“Birmingham is on the cusp of something fantastic” said Valentine, “and I am excited to use my skills and experiences working in the city to support its continued growth.

“Downtown connects businesses with decision makers, funding institutions and civic leaders in a way no other organisation delivers.

“The city is working hard to continue to attract strategic investors,” said Valentine “and Downtown’s powerful network, connections and platforms will be vital in supporting the realisation of the city and region’s full potential.”
