Downtown in Business saw in the August Bank Holiday in partnership with iHub and Wilderness to raise awareness and funds for Sifa Fireside. Over 50 of Birmingham’s finest professionals gathered at iHub for an afternoon of social networking and Wilderness’ signature cocktails with all proceeds going directly to Sifa.
In just three short hours, connections were made and a staggering £814.60 was raised for Sifa. Sifa Fireside is a drop in centre that works to address the needs of homeless and vulnerable in Birmingham. This service provides access to food, showers and clothing as well as a range of support services dealing with physical and mental health. Sifa Fireside has a mission of providing services to individuals who are disadvantaged and to influence the development of the homelessness agenda in local and national areas.
