Downtown in Business will host its inaugural ‘Change Makers Live’ national conference on Thursday 2nd March in Liverpool.

The event will be exploring innovative solutions to the challenges facing the UK and global economy in the twenty-first century, with a range of speakers from the private and public sectors.

Leading entrepreneurs, academics, opinion formers, and politicians will come together to offer innovative solutions to the key issues that are exercising the minds of decision-makers not just in the UK, but around the globe.

The focus of a series of short presentations from our leading keynote speakers – with an emphasis on an interactive event that will encourage comment and participation from conference delegates- will be the economy and cost of living crisis; technology; health; energy; climate and net zero; infrastructure; and public services.

The Education minister Gillian Keegan MP, shadow health minister Wes Streeting MP, the mastermind of HS2 Lord Andrew Adonis, are among the keynote speakers.

The conference will also hear inspirational, dynamic, 15-minute presentations from innovative thinkers and entrepreneurs, including the Director of Strategy for Bruntwood Jessica Bowles, the Director of policy & strategy for the Tony Blair Institute Ryan Wain, Professor Rasmita Raval, Director of THE Open Innovation Hub   for Antimicrobial Surfaces at the University of Liverpool, and Social Media influencer, and Gen Z commentator Chrissie Wolfe.

The conference will be hosted at the award winning Spine Building in Paddington Village, Liverpool.
