The 2024 Downtown in Business Property & Regeneration conference will take place on Thursday 8th February, at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester.
Among the confirmed speakers for the event, which is being sponsored by Manchester City Council, Salford City Council, and the City of Wolverhampton Council, are Manchester leader Cllr Bev Craig, Salford mayor Paul Dennett, Wolves chief executive Tim Johnson, the CEO of Leeds City Council Tom Riordan, the Corporate Director of City Development for Liverpool City Council, Nuala Gallagher, the Property & Investment Director for Birmingham City Council Philip Nell, and Maggie Grogan, the West Midlands Managing Director of Muse.
The group chairman and chief executive of DIB Frank McKenna said:
“This is our third annual national property & regeneration conference, and we are delighted to be hosting it for the first time in the Northwest. We have some great local authority leaders joining us for the day, and we will be announcing further speakers in the coming weeks.
“Past highlights have included conversations with Gary Neville and Lord Michael Heseltine – and we have some equally impressive names lined up for the 2024 event.
“With a potential change in government next year, and certainly a thorough debate about the future of planning legislation, there will be much for delegates to discuss and get their teeth into during the course of the day.”
