Downtown in Business rewarded the leading businesses and business personalities from across Birmingham at the City of Birmingham Business Awards 2023.

Downtown in Business rewarded the leading businesses and business personalities from across Birmingham at the City of Birmingham Business Awards 2023.

Over 180 of the city’s leading business personalities gathered at The Park Regis Hotel to celebrate the achievements of the city’s business community.

The awards, hosted by Downtown boss Frank McKenna and Heart West Midlands DJ and co-founder of HDY Agency Ed James, gave away gongs to companies and individuals that have made a successful and significant contribution to economic growth in the city region.

Big winners on the evening included, Simon Marks from Arcadis, Kier, Zeal Recruitment and Bruntwood SciTech who won the Chief Executive’s Award, Contractor of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Developer of the Year awards respectively.

Downtown CEO and Group Chairman, Frank McKenna commented; “As always, #COBBA was a superb evening celebrating the fantastic business community in Birmingham.

“I would like to say well done to all of the nominees, as they are what keep Birmingham and wider city region going, and of course congratulations to all of the winners.
