Downtown in Business members with an interest in the health and care sector were given an opportunity to meet Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting at a special event held in Manchester on Wednesday evening.
The leader of the Opposition and the shadow Health minister met around 150 business leaders from across the Northwest to outline their plans for the future of the NHS.
The mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham and the Leader of Manchester City Council Bev Craig also attended the event.
Later this month DIB will be hosting a Parliamentary Reception in partnership with Leeds and Manchester City Councils, where the shadow Business minister Johnny Reynolds will be among the speakers. And the shadow Leader of the House Lucy Powell will be DIBs guest speaker at an exclusive Leaders Lunch in Manchester on January 26th.
