Clitheroe office raises £100 to support Shelter

Harrison Drury’s Clitheroe office welcomed clients, business partners and local guests to enjoy a fundraising Christmas get-together with mulled wine and mince pies, at their office in Church Street, Clitheroe.

Organised by associate solicitor Nicola Beneduce, with the support of associate solicitor Wendy Newbury and executive administrator Fiona Tyldesley and the rest of the Clitheroe team, the afternoon set the scene for Christmas.

Nicola said: “We were keen to find a way to celebrate Christmas with our valued clients that also benefitted the Shelter charity. By inviting guests to make a charitable contribution to our cause, we were delighted to be able donate £100 to Shelter.

“One of Harrison Drury’s corporate values is making it possible for our community, so we are keen to make sure this includes helping charities. Christmas time is a difficult time for many families and Shelter does a lot to help them.”

Wendy added: “As a firm that does a lot of work in the property sector, choosing Shelter seemed to a very fitting charity to help.”

Guest included representatives from Handlesbanken, Armitstead Barnatt, Savills and PM+M, who were all welcomed with mulled wine and freshly made mince pies, a prized local delicacy from the Chicken Delicatessen, based on Church Street.

Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness offering support and legal services. The charity also campaigns to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to them for help.

The Harrison Drury’s Clitheroe office has a team of 20 and delivers a full range of legal services to the local community including commercial, commercial property, residential, family, divorce and private client services.
