York-based Saville Group, the leading live event specialist and AV integrator, is delighted to have won two awards at the annual AV News Awards 2019, which recognises excellence within Europe’s audio-visual industry.
Visavvi, the specialist AV integration brand of Saville Group received double honours on the day. Group Service Director, Ann Pickard was crowned AV Support Professional of the Year whilst the Visavvi specialist business collaboration team walked away with the AV Reseller/Integrator of the Year award.
The prestigious awards were handed to the Visavvi team by event host and AV News editor Bryan Denyer at the annual AV News Awards held at the RAI in Amsterdam. The Awards hold a special place within Europe’s audio-visual industry, being focused on the people and community that makes the business work and looks to recognise the massive contribution made by individuals and businesses that deliver outstanding achievements in the delivery of AV solutions.

Ann Pickard has been part of Saville Group since 1992 where she initially joined as a junior administrator. Thanks to the continued growth and success of the Visavvi Service Department that she revolutionised, Ann is also a shareholder and a member of the Board of Directors for the Saville Group.
Her passion for customer service has defined her industry reputation earning her the nickname Queen of Service from her industry peers. Ann and her team at Vissavvi manage over 1,000 active service contracts, many with clients who have been supported for over ten years, plus a net profit of £1.5 million and a footprint that covers Europe for some of the biggest brands on the planet.
The awards have been openly received following a continued strong period of growth and a major brand transformation late last year, which revealed Saville Group as the new parent brand, joined by Sparq and Visavvi as the company’s live events business and the AV systems specialists respectively.
Colin Etchells, Group Technical Director took to the stage to receive the award on behalf of the whole Visavvi team for the AV Reseller/Integrator of the Year award: “This is a fantastic way to start our first true year as Visavvi following the launch of the brand in September 2018. The recent brand launch is just a part of our journey, during this period we have seen orders double and international sales increased by 600%.”
