Yorkshire-based Q61 nail and beauty studio group unveils a stylish new interior in its Leeds city centre-based salon

Q61, the Yorkshire-based nail and beauty studio brand with two salons in Leeds and Harrogate, has unveiled the results of its recently revamped central Leeds salon. The new look salon, which continues to offer a wide range of on-trend nail and beauty treatments, boasts a glossy new interior, rich in deluxe features, bespoke furnishings and fashionable finishing touches.

Q61 opened the doors to its Leeds salon in 2015, with the nail and beauty studio soon earning a reputation among Leeds’ trend-aware clientele as the go-to spot for inspired and varied beauty offerings. With its extensive service menu, Q61 Leeds offers a wide range of beauty treatments to both male and female clients, as well as an on-trend nail treatment menu, that includes different types of express, luxury and bespoke manicures and pedicures, as well as highly skilled nail art and personalized nail design. With style and luxury at the very core of the Q61 brand, a makeover of the salon’s interior, to transform it into a first-class experiential beauty salon, was a natural progression for the salon.

The newly revamped salon interior of Q61 Leeds was inspired by the decor of some of the world’s top salons. As a brand that reveres luxury and prioritises the overall salon experience, it was essential that the design of the new salon interior was both luxe yet functional. The new look salon – defined by a combination of vast high ceilings, clean modern lines and a glossy wood finish throughout – creates a sense of space, cleanliness and high quality that when combined, gives the salon that polished and ultra-modern feel that defines some of the leading salons of the world.

Q61 is a brand that puts its clients first, and with the clients’ salon experience being at the very core of the business, it was imperative that the new decor of the Leeds salon was reflective of this. The nail stations, featuring plush seating and wide spacious nail benches to allow customers to feel more comfortable, is testament to this. The salon’s multiple pedicure stations, which boast huge private booths, are another example of the client experience being central to the design of the new look salon.

While beauty is the essence of Q61, the Yorkshire beauty brand also has a strong fashion focus, which is evident as soon as you step foot inside both its Harrogate salon, which opened in November 2018, and the recently revamped Leeds interior. The stylishly designed new salon at Q61 Leeds features modern colour blocking in shades of maroon and white; glossy furnishings; and eclectic finer details, such as industrial-style copper pendant lamps, bespoke artwork and recessed lighting. Adding a fashion-focused ‘colour runway’ to the salon – a nail station with a visual display of more than 150 seasonal nail shades, which is designed to reflect catwalk colour trends – is another nod to the trend-led fashion-forward approach of the brand. A handful of fashionable finishing touches – think glamorous coffee table books, high fashion magazines throughout the waiting area, and a constant stream of video footage of fashion shows from Fashion TV projected onto the salon’s minimalistic white walls – serve as a further reminder that Q61 is a multi-dimensional beauty brand with a directional approach and a finger firmly on fashion’s pulse.

Although a relative newcomer to the beauty scene, Q61 is a brand that has quickly earned a cult-like following amongst the North’s discerning clientele, and the stylish new interior makeover of its Leeds salon is expected to cement this reputation further.

As Q61 co-director Helena Linsky explains, “Our aim at Q61 is to provide our Yorkshire clientele with a unique beauty experience that they won’t find anywhere else. While our Leeds salon already boasted a modern and stylish decor, the recent revamp, with its plush features and ultra-fashionable finish, has really elevated our customer-centric offering.”
