The new Roxy Ball Room super-venue in the Cavern Quarter burst onto the city’s leisure scene with a bang, at their star-studded launch event.
Over 400 invited guests including actresses Gillian Kearney, Jessica Ellis and Jessica Fox, were treated to a sneak peek of this gaming and leisure Mecca and enjoyed a night of fun, food, drinks and gaming in the epic Rainford Square venue.
The Premier League might be drawing to a close, but tension was well and truly in the air at last night’s launch party as guests challenged friends and colleagues around the gaming zones.
The four lane bowling alley and the 9-hole mini golf course secured the loudest cheers as guests battled for top spots.
With 16,000 square feet to cover, the guys have crammed multiple pool, ping-pong and shuffleboard tables along with a 9-hole golf course and 4 lane bowling alley, A UV room, plus a super-cool bar area, cosy booths and tasty dining zones.
The whole place has been transformed into an uber-cool instagrammable gaming nirvana that is going to take the city’s leisure scene to a whole new level.
Roxy neon signs are now illuminating the Cavern Quarter and the walls are covered in funky street art murals, with more than a nod to some of our city’s most famous exports. There are multiple giant screens throughout the venue so you won’t miss a second of any must-see sporting action.
The central bar area is huge and there are plenty of booths and handy seating areas if you need to refuel with a pizza, burger or a pint or two in between games.
The Roxy team are really on point and the whole place is buzzing with the super-friendly, relaxed vibe that the guys have become known for in their College Lane venue.
Our advice – get your game face on, engage your competitive streak and get yourself down to Roxy Ball Room for a drinking, dining and gaming experience that is not to be missed!
General Manager Andy Evans said, ‘Last night was amazing. It was great to finally be able to open the doors and show off the new venue to guests old and new. There was an incredible atmosphere and we have had some great feedback from guests which is always good to hear.’
Manging Director Matt Jones added, ‘We’ve always loved Liverpool but we have been totally overwhelmed by the positive feedback so far. It’s our biggest venue to date so we really wanted to get everything just right. We are really looking forward to welcoming guests over the Bank Holiday weekend and if last night is anything to go by they will be in for an epic gaming experience.’
