LoveBrum Announces New £15,000 Funding Grant

Birmingham charity LoveBrum is celebrating the announcement of a brand new community fund, a £15,000 fund available as a single grant in addition to the current funding LoveBrum provides.

Birmingham charity LoveBrum is celebrating the announcement of a brand new community fund, a £15,000 fund available as a single grant in addition to the current funding LoveBrum provides.

The introduction of the Community Impact Fund marks 12 months of change for the organisation. In 2018, LoveBrum secured £250,000 of National Lottery funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK. The charity was able to add over £50,000 to the funding pot, which has meant even more local causes could be supported. Applications for the Community Impact Fund will be open to any organisation looking to make the city a better place but will look to fund community-based projects working to overcome the challenges Birmingham is facing, particularly tackling homelessness and poverty gap.

LoveBrum’s Executive Director, Paul Mitchell, comments:

“The past 12 months have been an incredible time for LoveBrum. Since receiving the National Lottery funding last year, we have been able to support even more hidden gem projects who are doing incredible things across the city.

“We’re delighted to announce the brand new Community Impact Fund, which not only provides the causes a greater platform along with the freedom to continue the valuable work they are doing within our local communities, it also marks the next stage in growth for us as a charity.”

Applications are now open for the Community Impact Fund and will close 31 July 2019. Visit lovebrum.org.uk to apply.
